2018 NCAA Tournament Bracketology: Arizona State Enters Field as Arizona Tumbles

Less than a month of the 2017-18 college basketball season has already prompted a ton of movement in the HERO Sports 2018 NCAA Tournament Bracketology.

While three of the four preseason No. 1 seeds have remained on the top lines (Duke, Kansas and Michigan State), the rest of the bracket has been flipped over thanks to, among other things, a three-loss November for Arizona and impressive non-conference wins for Arizona State, Texas A&M and others. The Wildcats dropped from No. 1 in the West to No. 5 in South; Arizona State went from well outside the field to No. 5 in the East; and Texas A&M climbed from No. 9 to No. 2 in the Midwest.

The ACC leads all conferences with nine teams in the field, followed by the Big 12 (eight), Big East (seven) and SEC (six).

Last Four In: Butler, San Diego State, St. Bonaventure, Boise State

First Four Out: Mississippi State, Oklahoma State, Northern Iowa, Syracuse
