The 2018 Women's NCAA Tournament kicks off on Friday as we look to crown the next champion in women's basketball. Last year we saw Mississippi State knock off UConn in the Final Four then fall at the hands of South Carolina in the NCAA Championship.
Will 2018 bring about another exciting finish?
In the Spokane region, Notre Dame heads in with the top seed and star player Arike Ogunbowale. I see them having no issues until a Sweet 16 matchup with Texas A&M, whose only losses in recent weeks are to Mississippi State.
I think Oregon and Ohio State will meet up in the other Sweet 16 matchup, and the Buckeyes will advance despite the location advantage for the Ducks.
That sets up an A&M-OSU Elite Eight matchup. Gimme the Aggies to move on to the Final Four.
