I have a new career goal. When I retire from writing from HERO Sports, I just want tweet at them that I'm done.

We're crushing it this month, you guys. An easy NBA win last night with the Toronto Raptors bring our record in the month of April to 10-3-1. That includes a 6-2-1 mark in Major League Baseball, which is where we're returning to today.

Padres at Rockies, 8:40 p.m. EST
Joey Lucchesi (0-0, 2.79 ERA) vs
Tyler Anderson (0-0, 7.56 ERA)
Total: 10.5
I'm chasing this game on my MLB bounceback principle. The Rockies lost to the Padres 7-6 last night; as the better team with the additional advantage of being home, Colorado should find a way to dig out a win tonight.
Want more than that? You got it. Colorado is 3-2 against the Padres this season and 3-2 after a loss. Of the Rockies three wins against San Diego, all three came by two runs or more.
Let's talk pitching. Tyler Anderson, Colorado's starter for tonight's game, pitched six scoreless innings last week in San Diego. The Rockies won that game 3-1. At Coors field, Anderson has a 3.39 ERA with 108 strikeouts over 119 innings; meanwhile, San Diego's Joey Lucchesi is pitching in his third-ever game in the majors.
Originally, I wanted to do today's post on the total in the Yanks-Red Sox game. With Sale and Severino on the mound, and the total only at 7, it's a great spot to fade the pitcher's duel and take the over. However, the Red Sox have an early trend toward the under this season, and last year, 12 of the 19 games between New York and Boston went under.
Instead, I'll go take a side on this Colorado game, where plenty of signs are pointing to a bounceback win. I'll keep hammering these runlines until somebody gives me a reason not to. We've been awfully good with plus odds so far.
Pick: Colorado -1.5 +120
