If you spent your Tuesday evening watching our selected game between Utah and Western Kentucky, you got to see one heck of a back-and-forth game. WKU, the short favorite backed by the Free Play, led for much of the fourth quarter, but Utah snuck past the Hilltoppers in the final minute.
Today, we're returning to the CBI championship series, where we've already made one pick in the series. Today's play is our strongest of the week so far.

San Francisco at North Texas (-3), 8:30 p.m. EST
Total: 143
This is an easy pick for our system. San Francisco won Game 1 by ten points, so Vegas likely wants you to take the better team that's labeled as the underdog here. About 55 percent of the public is backing the Dons; that doesn't exactly scream "trap play," but it feels pretty trappy all the same.
We're going to bypass all this point spread nonsense today and post a totals play, where we've been particularly good this postseason. Both teams combined for 134 points in Game 1, giving us a healthy margin of error for Game 2. This new total assumes that the geographic move to Denton might favor North Texas' faster style of play, but the Dons should keep the game pace on the slow side, regardless of whether or not UNT can capitalize on home court advantage.
Pick: San Francisco/North Texas Under 143
