If you've got extra winnings from yesterday weighing your wallet down, might I suggest Jonathan Abrams' book All the Pieces Matter? It's an oral history of The Wire. I'm about 100 pages in. It's fantastic.

We had a pristine 2-0 day yesterday, with sharp picks on UAB and the Duke-UNC under. We're looking to keep the streak going with another quality selection today. Not accidentally, today's target is not from a Power-5 conference.
North Carolina-Wilmington vs Hofstra (-5), 8 p.m. EST
As has been mentioned before, I live in #caahoops country, so I watch a lot of Colonial ball. The Hofstra Pride ended the season on a nice tear, winning their last four games by an average of 10 points. Their last loss? It was a 20-point defeat in Wilmington, dating back to mid-February.
Hofstra (19-11, 12-6) and Wilmington (10-20, 7-11) will square off tonight in the second round of the CAA tournament. Hofstra is a trendy pick to make a run at the CAA title. I'm not sure they'll get that far, but I do like their chances to cover tonight. In a revenge game where Hofstra can end Wilmington's season, ride with the Pride.
Pick: Hofstra -5
Bennett Rank Picks for March 3, 2018
Southern Methodist -7 at South Florida
Hofstra -5 over UNC-Wilmington
Denver -2 over Oral Roberts
Bennett's system backing my Hofstra play gives me a lot of confidence going into Sunday evening, but I don't know how I feel about that SMU pick. USF is now catching eight points, up from seven this morning. The Bulls are at home, and Methodist is missing two of its best players. I wouldn't just pass, here; I'd bet the other way entirely.
The Bennett Power Score (BPS) was created as a point spread predictor on a neutral court. BPS is based on adjusted margins of victory and strength of schedule for games played to date. More recent games are weighted more heavily. These are updated twice daily as scores are reported and are the foundation for BennettRank (BR). BR ranks all major college sports and divisions twice daily. See all current basketball rankings here.
