The time has come to honor the best tennis players in the country at the D1 level with the honorees for HERO of The Week. Each week we will have a list of nominees for you to vote for that stood out in competition over the week prior.
Voting will take place in the poll at the bottom of this article following the list of nominees. Voting only takes place in the poll, and the voting will close on Friday at 10:00 a.m. PST for each poll.
Without further ado, here are the nominees for HERO of The Week!

Connor Curry, Texas Tech
In a big conference matchup with TCU, Curry came up big in the third round of singles play with an upset victory. In straight sets, the Red Raiders' star toppled the 91st ranked player in the nation.

Nicola Pipoli, Monmouth
Pipoli had a three set adventure with his opponent from Marist, book-ending wins in his match. He won each set 6-3, and was able to rebound from an 0-6 loss in the second set.

Alex Favrot, Clemson
Favrot and the Tigers had a big match on hand when they took on Notre Dame. Going in the second round of singles play, the Tiger standout won in three sets, defending his ranking of 66th against the 119th best player in D1.

Borna Gojo, Wake Forest
Leading off for the Demon Deacons as the sixth-ranked player in D1 in a match with NC State, Gojo had another dominant win in straight sets against a ranked foe. The WF standout has not lost since March 28.

Matic Spec, Minnesota
Spec was the only winner for his team against the Illini, claiming a singles win in straight sets. He had to go to extra frames in the second set, but defended his 89th place ranking well in a conference matchup.
