The time has come to honor the best tennis players in the country at the D1 level with the honorees for HERO of The Week. Each week we will have a list of nominees for you to vote for that stood out in competition over the week prior.

Voting will take place in the poll at the bottom of this article following the list of nominees. Voting only takes place in the poll, and the voting will close on Friday at 10:00 a.m. PST for each poll.

Without further ado, here are the nominees for HERO of The Week!

Mariana Gould, Georgia

Going fifth in singles play for UGA versus Mississippi State, Gould claimed a straight set win 6-1, 6-2. That victory marks her sixth win in a row.

Katarina Jokic, Georgia

Another Bulldog, Jokic continued to dominate on the court as the eighth ranked player in the country. She also teamed with previous nominee Gould to claim a doubles win versus Mississippi State, their third win in a row and seventh in the last eight matches.

Samantha Harris, Duke

Ranked fourth in the country and taking on the 20th-ranked player from Clemson over the weekend, this Blue Devil standout showed why she is held in such high regard for her play. Winning in straight sets, the final tally read 6-4, 6-1.

Isabella Franks, Marquette

Franks might have been the last player in the singles lineup against Xavier, but she left one of the best performances for that time. Winning 6-1, 6-1, she was the only MU player to win in straight sets.

Erin Larner, Northwestern

Larner – ranked 49th in the latest polls – had a tough matchup when the Wildcats faced off with Michigan. Playing the 29th-ranked player from UM, this Wildcat was able to knock her off in straight sets for an upset win.

Alizee Michaud, Auburn

Another winner in upset fashion, Michaud had one of the bigger wins over the weekend when she beat the 52nd-ranked Giulia Pairone from Arkansas. Having to go three sets, she bookended set victories to get her first win in just under a month.

Suzanne Zenoni, Elon

Zenoni was one of just a few players to accomplish what she did on the court this weekend, winning in a complete sweep 6-0, 6-0. This has become somewhat of a regular for the Elon standout, with this being her fifth win of that kind since the turn into 2018.
