Darius Bazley is showing Ohio State fans what could have been.
Bazley, a four-star 2018 recruit from in Cincinnati, committed to the Buckeyes last August, prior to his junior season at Princeton High School. However, in April, after Ohio State's 17-win, non-NIT season, the 6-foot-9 power forward de-committed.
“I was excited when I first got the offer,” he said on Twitter. “Ohio State is still a great place. It’s nothing against the school or anything, but my one ultimate goal is to get to the NBA and I just didn’t feel as confident as I did when I first committed that Ohio State was one of those schools that could get me there."
He holds offers from Florida, Maryland, Purdue and others. And whoever lands Rivals' 74th-ranked prospect in the country will get an athletic freak who does not move like a 6-foot-9 player.
