The NFL season kicks off in full force Sunday and you've probably got some decisions to make on your fantasy football team. If you have room on your roster for a sleeper play, consider adding Chicago Bears running back Tarik Cohen.
FANTASY FOOTBALL: Is Cooper Kupp a Week 1 Starter?
Cohen is a fascinating running back to watch play. At 5-foot-6 he obviously resembles Darren Sproles, but he's got a power in that small frame that makes him not only an elusive runner on the edge, but a strong runner in the middle.
As the Bears head into week one, Cohen sits second on the running back pecking order behind Jordan Howard, who is a legitimate fantasy stud. He's 100 percent owned in fantasy leagues and is being started in every single fantasy matchup this weekend except for that one weird friend you have who forgot to set a lineup.
Behind Howard and Cohen are Benny Cunningham and Taquan Mizzell — neither figures to be in the mix much.
Cohen is pretty firmly entrenched as the backup, and given his home run-hitting ability, he could be a guy you want to grab now before he scores a long touchdown in week one and becomes waiver-wire pickup No. 1 on Wednesday. He's currently owned in just 2.1 percent of ESPN fantasy football leagues.

Here's what he did in the preseason:
Bottom line, he's an intriguing play who you might want to grab now. If you're in a PPR league or a deep league in general, he could be worth a flyer to play this weekend. He has the big-play ability to really pay off, but it's certainly a gamble considering how good Jordan Howard is.
