The 2022 FCS season’s national championship game is scheduled for 2 p.m. ET on Sunday, Jan. 8, 2023. It will air on ABC.
Frisco, Texas, hosts the title game for the 13th season. The city and Toyota Stadium have the game contract through the 2024 season with an option for the 2025 season.
The 24-team playoff bracket has 11 auto-bids from 11 conferences and 13 at-large bids. Eight teams will be seeded with first-round byes.
When Are The FCS Playoffs?
Postseason play begins Nov. 26 with the first-round games. The second-round games are Dec. 3, the quarterfinals are Dec. 9 and 10, the semifinals are Dec. 16 and 17, and the title game is Jan. 8 in Frisco, Texas.
A selection show revealing the bracket will air on ESPNU at 12:30 p.m. ET on Sunday, Nov. 20.
