The Connecticut Sun signed Jacki Gemelos to a training camp contract as announced earlier today.
The six-food guard played for one of Greece's top clubs Olympiacos WBC this past season where she had one of her most successful seasons to date. A dynamic scoring guard with size and versatility to play on the wing. She'll bring a solid option in training camp to the short-handed Sun.

"Jacki is playing the best basketball of her professional career and defines perseverance. She brings a toughness and versatility to our training camp," said Connecticut Sun head coach Curt Miller.
Gemelos was originally drafted No. 31 overall by the Minnesota Lynx in the third round of the 2012 WNBA Draft. She was waived prior to the start of the season. Prior to the 2015 season, Gamelos was signed by the Chicago Sky where she appeared in 17 games averaging 1.1 point 0.5 rebounds in five minutes of play. In 2018, she signed with the Las Vegas Aces in free agency but was waived prior to the start of the season.
With an extensive resume in EuroLeague and overseas play, Gemelos has played in Greece for Panathinaikos (2013-2014), Italy for PF Umbertide (2014-2015), Spain with Perfumerias Avenida (2015-2016), and Italy with Saces Mapei Napoli (2016-2019).
