The Indiana Fever have signed Jessica January to a training camp contract as announced earlier today.
"Jessica is a veteran point guard and floor general with significant international experience," said Fever Head Coach Marianne Stanley per release. "Signing her to our training camp roster will give us additional competition at our guard positions."

January averaged 14.8 points, 6.7 rebounds and 4.7 assists this past season with Piestanske Cajky, a top club in Slovakia.
January was originally drafted as the No. 28 overall pick in the 2017 WNBA Draft by the Connecticut Sun. In three of her first preseason games with the Sun, she had eight points, three rebounds and two assists. She was waived prior to the start of the season and was signed in 2018 to a training camp contract.
The five-foot-seven point guard played four years at DePaul University. During her four year stint with the Blue Demons she averaged 12 points, 4.5 rebounds and 4.4 assists in her 27 minutes of play per game. She was named a 2016 Nancy Lieberman Award Finalist and was on the Naismith Memorial Watch List her senior year.
Newly named head coach, Marianne Stanley, continues to make some noise with the addition of Indiana great April (McDivitt) Schilling to her coaching staff earlier this week. Though there have not been a ton of free agency moves this offseason, Indiana holds a highly talented young roster who has shown improvement in the last two seasons. Expect more aggressive moves prior to the 2021 season in terms of trades and signings.
The Fever's 2020 season is scheduled to tip off on May 15 against the Atlanta Dream.
