College baseball fans don't need any reminders of LSU's rich history, one that includes 27 regular-season and conference tournament titles, 17 College World Series appearances, six national championships and a loaded alumni base.
And it also included some perfectly simple uniforms in the early 20th century, which the Tigers resurrected on Tuesday.
They donned stunning throwback uniforms against Tulane at Alex Box Stadium in honor of their 312th meeting with the Green Wave. Their first meeting in 1893 was actually the first athletics event in LSU history.
Although LSU lost, 7-6, their uniforms still won the day:
