There's plenty on the line in one of the marquee matchups this college football Saturday, as Florida travels to Baton Rouge to take on LSU. If the Gators can defeat the Tigers in this rescheduled matchup, Florida will win the SEC East and move on to the conference title game where they get a chance to mess with the perfect season of Alabama. If Florida loses and Tennessee beats both Vanderbilt and Missouri to close out their schedule, the Vols own the division title.

This game always has an element of nastiness, but this season's edition feels even more that way. That is because of the public bickering between the school athletic directors after the game was initially postponed from its October 8 date due to the impact of Hurricane Matthew. While other schools quickly and easily found alternate arrangements for their games (Navy and East Carolina come to mind immediately), this clash between Florida and LSU looked at one point like it wouldn't even be played as the two schools postured and jostled for position in the negotiations.
Some of that was probably due to the fact that at this point in the season, with only a couple of games left to go, neither school can afford a loss. It is always said that in the world of college football late losses are always more damaging that early ones, and with each team trying to position themselves for a better bowl the loss will simply hurt more.
This video does a great job of showcasing the two schools and hyping up what looks set to be an awesome matchup on Saturday. It is one of a number of massive games on tap this weekend as we hurtle towards Thanksgiving and the rivalry games start to come thick and fast.
