A few of the many conference tournaments have wrapped up already this week and there are a few teams that came in fired up and clinched the title, simultaneously punching their tickets to the D1 Women's Basketball NCAA Tournament. Here are a few of those teams and their chances of making a long run in the Big Dance:

In last week's BRacketology, we had BR-49 St. John's listed as an at-large bid — and the team was listed as one of our conference tourney dark horses. The Red Storm took matters into their own hands this week and locked up an NCAA Tournament berth by clinching the Big East crown with a 50-37 victory over Creighton in the title game.
Fun fact: This is the fourth Big East title for the Johnnies (23-9) and their first since the 1988 season. Aliyahh Handford was phenomenal in the postseason, averaging 18.7 points, 5 rebounds, 3.3 steals and 3 assists per game in pushing SJU through the field. If she can keep up the effort on both ends of the floor, expect to see a lot of Red and White this March. The last time the team was in the NCAA Tournament, in 2013-14, the squad won its first round game over USC and fell to Tennessee in the second round.
