This may be the first, and for that matter only, new nickname/logo hype video you will ever see. It's been over a decade since the wheels started turning on the University of North Dakota changing their nickname from the "Fighting Sioux". It was deemed racially problematic.
The school administration ultimately decided on the name "Fighting Hawks", and released the new logo earlier this week. The school worked hard to design a logo that both links to the past and represents the future, and this awesome video will get you believing even if you (like me) have zero affiliation with the university.
