The D1 Men's Soccer season has only been rolling for a week, but we've already had more than a few phenomenal goal-scoring performances on the pitch. Lets take a look at the Top 5 strikers early in the season:
5. Guillermo Delgado, Delaware: 3 goals
In just two games, Guillermo Delgado has set the net ablaze for BR-63 Delaware, scoring three times to start the Blue Hens off at 2-0. Delgado also has an assist on the season and has taken 10 shots with eight on goal so far and has also notched a game-winner.
The senior is a team captain with Delaware this year and was named to the Preseason MAC Hermann watch list — he's definitely one to keep an eye on going forward.

4. Chris Nanco, Syracuse: 3 goals
Three games, three goals. That's how BR-2 Syracuse senior Chris Nanco's season is going so far in New York. Nanco snagged a goal in the opening game for the Orange against UMass and added two more in a win over Colgate.
The 'Cuse sits at 3-0 on the year, due in large part to the play of Nanco. The Canadian has taken eight shots with seven on goal so far this season and is just heating up.

3. Jovanni Chavez, Liberty: 3 goals
With three goals and one assist, Jovanni Chavez has BR-169 Liberty rolling to a 2-0 record early on this season. Oh, and Chavez has only taken four shots so far.
The three goals that Chavez has eclipse his two-goal season-high he achieved as a freshman in 2014. Last season, Chavez received a medical redshirt. Back to 100-percent health, this hot-footed sophomore is one to keep an eye on.

The sophomore from Germany notched both of his goals in a 4-1 victory over Memphis. Last season, Burmeister had four goals total on 12 shots with seven on goal.
