The BR-25 Denver soccer team heads back onto the pitch as the reigning Summit League champion after closing out a lossless 15-0-3 regular season. The Pioneers return 19 players, including nine starters from last year's NCAA tournament squad. Last season's leading scorer Karsten Hanlin (5 goals, 4 assists) headlines the group, and is joined by Andre Shinyashiki (5 goals, 2 assists), Chandler Crosswait (3 goals, 5 assists) and Alex Underwood (3 goals, 5 assists). One of major losses came in the form of keeper Dan Jackson, who manned the pipes for all 19 games a year ago.

What Else? Redshirt senior Reagan Dunk was named to the Hermann Trophy watch list in the preseason after putting together a phenomenal junior campaign for the Pioneers. At the conclusion of last season, Dunk was named the program's first-ever D1 All-American. He finished the season with eight assists – five of which resulted in game-winners. He's also the defending Summit League Defensive Player of the Year.
