Ivy League women's soccer almost inevitably devolves into a one- or two-horse race at the top, as was the case last season with Princeton and Harvard slugging it out for the league title.
Princeton came out on top last season and made the most of their NCAA Tournament ticket, topping Boston College in the first round. At first glance, it looks like it'll be more of the same this season in the Ivy League, with the Tigers and Crimson heavy favorites to be the only real contenders for a title. It's much tighter down the pecking order, with Columbia looking like best of the other six clubs (on paper at least).
Let's take a look at the Ivy League in our D1 Women's Soccer 2016 Preview. The projections below are my own, and they differ slightly from the preseason D1 Women's Soccer rankings by BennettRank since BR, as a computer poll, doesn't take roster turnover into account.
