Here's our look at some the top single-performances in D1 college softball – the nominees for HERO of the Week!

Last week, you chose Cali Mikovich of BR-177 Youngstown State as the D1 Softball Offensive HERO of the Week with 42 percent of the vote. Mikovich went 5 for 6 with two doubles and a home run over BR-220 Cleveland State to earn the award.
On the flip side, you chose Jayne Oberdorf of BR-170 Marist as the D1 Softball Pitching HERO of the Week. Oberdorf earned 40 percent of the vote after she threw a no-hitter in an 8-0 win over BR-247 Quinnipiac.

BR-67 PURDUE: Stewart smacked a game-winning two-run homer to lift the Boilermakers past conference rival BR-32 Ohio State last week. [divider]
BR-28 CAL STATE-FULLERTON: Rippy went 2 for 2 with three RBIs in a game last week against BR-134 San Diego.
BR-48 WICHITA STATE: Williams went 2 for 2 – both hits were home runs – last week against BR-167 Missouri State. [divider]

BR-129 ABILENE CHRISTIAN: Herron was a perfect 3 for 3 at the plate last week against BR-208 Sam Houston State, with a home run and a double. [divider]

BR-244 ALABAMA STATE: Core went 4 for 5 with a home run, double and four RBIs in a game last week against BR-277 Mississippi Valley State.
BR-53 BOSTON COLLEGE: Dreswick tossed a no-hitter in a 4-0 win last week against BR-87 NC State. She had six strikeouts.
BR-72 SOUTH CAROLINA UPSTATE: McKinnon went the distance for an eight-inning no-hitter against BR-164 Kennesaw State. She had four strikeouts in the 1-0 win.
BR-207 INDIANA STATE: Lockwood threw a five-inning no-hitter against BR-108 Loyola Marymount in a 14-0 win. She struck out five and walked one. [divider]

BR-2 FLORIDA: Gourley tossed a five-inning no-hitter last week against BR-43 Mississippi State, striking out four batters.
BR-90 NICHOLLS: Haydel had an excellent day as she threw a no-hitter in a 1-0 win over BR-118 Northwestern State. She struck out seven batters.
