Time once again for our weekly look at some the top single-game performances in D2 college baseball – the nominees for HERO of the Week!

The only way to vote is the poll at the bottom of the page. Once you’ve made your voice heard, be sure to share with friends so they can vote as well, and check back next week to see who won. Polls close Tuesday at noon Pacific, so be sure to get your vote in on time!

If you know of a player you think we should include next week, let us know! Nominate a player by sending an email with “D2 Baseball HERO” in the subject line to stories@herosports.com, or tweet us your nomination @HEROSportsNews with the hashtag #D2BBHERO.

Ryan Johnson, NW Nazarene baseball

WIth almost 58 percent of the vote last week, you chose Ryan Johnson of BR-91 Northwest Nazarene as the D2 Baseball Offensive HERO of the Week. Johnson went 5 for 5 with a home run, double and five RBIs in a 14-10 win over BR-40 Western Oregon.

Dalton Erb, Chico State baseball

On the flip side, you chose Dalton Erb of BR-28 Chico State as the D2 Baseball Pitching HERO of the Week! Erb earned the award after he struck out 11 batters in a 6-0 win over BR-93 Sonoma State.

Congrats to Ryan and Dalton!
