There wasn’t a lot of debate regarding the HERO Sports 2016 D2 Baseball All-America team, as many of our selections were consensus first-team All-Americans.
We complied our All-America squad based off the consensus approach, using the American Baseball Coaches Association (ABCA), the D2 Conference Commissioners Association (D2CCA) and National College Baseball Writers Association All-America teams as a starting off point. From those teams, we selected one player from each fielding position, a utility player, three starting pitchers and a reliever.
For those positions where there was no consensus pick, we made our selections based on the player with the most first-team selections earning the nod via a points selection process.
And, with that, here are your 2016 HERO Sports D2 Baseball All-Americans.
