MORE NCAA TOURNAMENT: Louisville vs. Michigan: Preview and Prediction for the Second Round
Louisville found themselves in a fight early against Jacksonville State, but recovered for a 15-point win, 78-63.
The Cardinals were led by Mangok Mathiang's 18 points, with Deng Adel and Quentin Snider adding 16 points each.
One of the hottest teams in the country right now, Michigan withstood a blistering pace from No. 10 Oklahoma State in the opening round game Friday, earning a 92-91 victory as Jawun Evans' last-second three-pointer closed the gap to one as time expired.
Derrick Walton Jr.battled Evans in possibly the best point guard matchup of the tournament so far. Walton scored 26 points and logged 11 assists, and scored a key bucket late in the game to force Oklahoma State to foul to prolong the game.
Michigan and Louisville will square off for the second time in NCAA Tournament history, and the last time around was a doozie. Louisville took home a 82-76 victory that also happened to hand the Cardinals the NCAA Tournament championship in 2013.
