Texas Tech point guard Keenan Evans is one of 31 players in the Sweet 16 who hail from Texas, the state with the most Sweet 16 players.
Evans was a three-star recruit in the 2014 class from Berkner High School in Richardson, Texas, a northeast suburb of Dallas. He is one of eight Red Raiders from the state. His teammate Niem Stevenson arrived in Lubbock from Dallas and though he's the only Texas Tech player from the city, he is one of seven Dallas natives on Sweet 16 rosters, which ties it with Chicago for the most in the country.
