D2 Baseball can be a haven for pitchers in some leagues, and a breeding ground for monsters with the bat in others. But one of the best leagues in the level for pitching is none other than the Pac West where arms dominate year-in and year-out.
But which arm in the current batch should be considered the best? That is where we need your help.
Below we have listed out five nominees for you to vote on just one. Voting will take place in a poll below, and the poll will close on April 12 at 11:00 a.m. PST.
Without any further delay, let's find out who you think is the best pitcher in the Pac West!

Garrett Irvin — Point Loma
Key Stats: 4-1 / 1.44 ERA / 63 K
Garrett is tied for the league lead with nine starts so far this season, but there has arguably been no pitcher more consistent than the PLNU star.
With one of the top ERA's in the league (minimum five starts) and the second-most strikeouts thus far, the Sea Lions have definitely found an ace for their staff.

Micah Beyer — Biola
Key Stats: 5-0 / 1.92 ERA / 64 K
Beyer has won five of the seven starts he has made this year, and has been absolutely dominant in each of them. His most impressive feat has been his 64 strikeouts through 51.2 innings, allowing just eight free passes in the same span.

Isaiah Carranza — Azusa Pacific
Key Stats: 6-0 / 1.47 ERA / .218 B/AVG
Carranza leads the Pac West with six victories thus far, and has been one of the best arms in limiting opponents at the plate, too. Of the 34 hits the APU star has given up on the mound, just four of them have gone for extra bases, all doubles.

Matt Mosca — Dixie State
Key Stats: 3-3 / 5.00 ERA / 1.5 BB/9
Mosca may not have the best overall stats in some of the more important categories, but he has shown the most control on the mound so far. Of anyone with at least five starts so far, Mosca has allowed the fewest walks with just six free passes in 36 innings.

John Kea — Hawai'i Hilo
Key Stats: 3-1 / 12 App / 4 SV / .212 B/AVG
Kea has been one of the better relievers in the conference to this point, posting the third most saves in the Pac West. Just a redshirt-freshman, the Honolulu native has given up just two runs in 12.2 innings pitched.
