Josiah Gray, RHP — Le Moyne
Gray (93.1 IP, 11-0, 105 SO, 1.25 ERA) was largely unhittable in his first full season as a starter at Le Moyne, generating a 10.2 strikeout per nine inning rate and only allowing 13 earned runs all year. [divider]
Charlie Hecht, RHP — Georgia College
Hecht (102.2 IP, 11-1, 125 SO, 2.81 ERA), broke out and was the ace the Bobcats needed in 2018 as they went on to win 44 games. [divider]
J.T. Hintzen, RHP — Florida Southern
Hintzen (28 G, 73.2 IP, 12-0, 96 SO, 1.83 ERA), was rock solid in relief for the Moccasins this year, contributing 12 wins.[divider]
Tucker Burgess, RHP — North Greenville
Leading all of D2 in wins, Burgess (96.2 IP, 14-3, 89 SO, 2.98 ERA) was an important piece at the top of the Crusaders rotation. [divider]
David Lebron, RHP — Tampa
Striking out 130 batters in 87 innings, Lebron (87.2 IP, 9-0, 130 SO, 2.46 ERA) finished second in total strikeouts on the year as he helped the Spartans get to another 40 plus win season. [divider]
Kolton Ingram, LHP — Columbus State
Ingram (114.1 IP, 12-3, 129 SO, 2.36 ERA), was an absolute horse for the Cougars this season, eating up well over 100 innings and touts a strikeout per nine rate over 10. [divider]
Michael Livingston, RHP — Young Harris
Livingston (96 IP, 6-3, 125 SO, 2.25 ERA) was as effective as any pitcher in D2 this year, and the stats sheet backs it up. Building on an impressive 2017, Livingston struck out 43 more batters in 2018. [divider]
Chris Vallimont, RHP — Mercyhurst
Vallimont (71.1 IP, 9-2, 131 SO, 1.77 ERA) led everyone in strikeouts this year, but pitched the least of all our candidates, talk about being difficult to hit. [divider]
