After Wednesday night, one team will remain undefeated in the state of Indiana.
Who will it be? The Butler Bulldogs (6-0) or the Indiana Hoosiers (7-0)? These two are set to collide Wednesday night at Assembly Hall and you should be there to see it go down.
Butler is off to one of the best starts in program history as one of just five teams who have started the season 6-0. The last time they accomplished the feat was in the 1990-91 campaign when they started the season 10-0. They are currently the only remaining undefeated team in the Big East.
The Bulldogs currently rank fourth in the nation in scoring defense allowing only 48.7 points per game. Offensively, they've been able to jump out quick on opponents with a lead.
They are led by a three-headed monster of guards Whitney Jennings (15 ppg) , Kristen Spolyar (13.7 ppg) and inside presence of Tori Schickel (13.3 ppg). They do a great job of playing from the inside out and stretching the floor. Schickel has proven to be a force inside throughout her career and that opens up the floor for the Butler guards to create.

Indiana is led by Ali Patberg who is averaging 17.7 points per game. This is an offensive-minded Hoosier team averaging close to 76 points per game. They look to push tempo and get out and run all while doing a good job of taking care of the basketball. They get a lot of their points by getting out and going and in the paint.
Butler is going to need to slow them down, get them into their half-court sets and keep them off the glass if they want to remain in this one.
The two have not met since the 2013-14 season when the Hoosiers won at home 84-69. This will be the first road test for Butler as they spent the entire month of November at home.

Battle of Miss Basketball
The matchup with also feature a battle of two former Indiana Miss Basketball award winners. Whitney Jennings earned it in 2014 and Ali Patberg was crowned the following year. This will be a fun matchup watching these two go head-to-head. Both are playing some of the best basketball of their careers and have a long track record of competing against one another.

Both are really good…. like really good. And you should really just watch them. Because….the world doesn't deserve Whitney Jennings and Ali Patberg going head to head.
