In the midst of a brutal road non-conference schedule that's taken San Jose State as far away from the Bay Area as Bowling Green and Southern Illinois, the Spartans finished the four-game trek last night in style against Portland.
To be more specific, Jaycee Hillsman ended the first half in style this weekend against the Pilots.

Down 32 to 29 with just seconds remaining in the first half, Portland looked to extend its lead on a three-point attempt near the top of the key. The shot clanged off the iron and Hillsman pulled the rebound.

That's when the junior guard made what will probably go down as the most incredible and miraculous shot of the season for SJSU.

Unfortunately for Spartans' fans, the squad was unable to ride the momentum of Hillsman's amazing shot to a victory in the second half, but the game certainly provided us with one of the best moments of this young 2017-18 men's basketball season.
