After an impressive rookie debut for the Chicago Bears, former North Carolina A&T running back Tarik Cohen was the most added player across fantasy football leagues.
Cohen scored 17.3 points last week in standard scoring leagues and was even more impressive in PPR formats.
His big week led to him being added more than any other player. He was owned in just 2.7 percent of fantasy football leagues heading into the weekend and that jumped to 44.8 percent after waivers on Wednesday, making him the biggest jump of any player.
Here's a look at the 10 most added players this week (numbers from ESPN Fantasy Football):
|Player||Pos.||Team||Wk. 1 Pts.||% Owned||% Increase|
|Alex Smith||QB||Kansas City||31||48.7||39.5|
|Cairo Santos||K||Kansas City||6||90.1||22.9|
|Wil Lutz||K||New Orleans||14||78.6||20.3|
Note: the Ravens defense (added in 25.9 percent of leagues) and Jaguars defense (added in 23.3 percent of leagues) would have also made this list, but we just listed the position players.
