BR-5 Tennessee tied for its 18th regular season title in 2015 with 15 wins in the SEC. After enduring a rough patch in late November, the Volunteers went 21-2 to close out the regular season before they eventually lost to South Carolina in the SEC Tournament. From there, they galloped through the NCAA Tournament, beating Boise State, Pittsburg and Gonzaga before losing to Maryland in the Elite Eight.
They lost guard Ariel Massengale and forward Isabella Harrison to graduation this offseason — two of their top offensive producers — but return just about everybody else. They should be ready to challenge South Carolina for the SEC crown.
