In the beginning of the basketball season, I wrote about the 25 transfer players most likely to make an impact on their new D2 schools. Now that we're around the midseason point, I decided to check up on some of these guys.
I listed their previous school and previous ranking on my first list, and found the guys who really followed through. They're excelling. Check out the list and hit me up on Twitter if I left anyone out!
5. Chauncey Orr, G/F, Hawaii Pacific
Previous School: Bowling Green
Previous Rank: 2
Coming in to the 13-14 season, Chauncey Orr was supposed to be the number one impact returner for Bowling Green, but then missed the year on a medical redshirt. He decided to take a step back from basketball the following year due to personal reasons.
Now that he's back in the game, he's been huge for Hawaii Pacific, averaging 14 points, 5.1 rebounds, and 2.8 assists per game. He's also shooting 54% from the field.
