College basketball has gotten out of control in the best way possible.
This week has been jam-packed with unlikely upsets: the Top 10 teams have a 1-5 record in the past four days. Do we have any clue which teams are really good and which teams are just putting up a front? Nope, and we love every minute of it. March is going to be absolutely fantastic.
Congrats to VMI with the 1.2% upset tonight over Chattanooga…by 16. That's the second biggest upset of the season to Utah Valley over BYU.

VMI entered Wednesday's game at Chattanooga as a massive underdog. The Mocs were favored by 20 points and the Keydets were given just a 1.2 percent chance to win. VMI hadn't won at Chattanooga since 1979.
Entering the night with a dismal 4-14 record, VMI looked overmatched. Chattanooga was riding high, preparing for another cupcake home win to enhance the 15-4 resume. The college basketball gods had different plans in mind, oh, and so did Keydets guard QJ Peterson.
VMI didn't just beat Chattanooga. The game was never even close and the Keydets walked away with a 80-64 bashing. Peterson was unstoppable from start to finish, wrapping up the night with 40 points in 38 minutes.
