The time has come to honor the best tennis players in the country at the D1 level with the honorees for HERO of The Week. Each week we will have a list of nominees for you to vote for that stood out in competition over the week prior.
Voting will take place in the poll at the bottom of this article following the list of nominees. Voting only takes place in the poll, and the voting will close on Friday at 10:00 a.m. PST for each poll.
Without further ado, here are the nominees for HERO of The Week!

Mikael Torpegaard, Ohio State
Against fifth-ranked Alex Knight from "That School Up North", Torepgaard made quick work to lead off singles play in a dual match. Ranked fourth himself, the Buckeye great won in straight sets.

Joe Ellis, North Florida
Ellis was the only member of the Ospreys to have a somewhat easy time in his match with Stetson, winning in straight sets. He was only one of three players from either side to withstand going to three sets.

Courtney Lock, UNLV
Lock was the only winner in singles play for the Rebels against Utah State. This UNLV court Rebel ended up winning in straight sets 7-5, 6-3.

Sean Hill, BYU
Hill helped lead BYU to a close 4-3 loss in a dual match with Utah, taking the first singles match between the two in-state rivals. The Cougars standout won in three sets after dropping the first and responding with a dominant second.

Patrick Kypson, Texas A&M
Kypson started the day in a dual match with Tennessee with a bang, knocking off the 16th-ranked player in D1 in straight sets. Ranked 37th himself, this should send the Aggies standout up the rankings and give him confidence for the rest of the year.

Aziz Dougaz, Florida State
Dougaz led the Seminoles in a big day for their program, knocking off 24th-ranked Alexis Galarneau in straight sets. This helped lead the 'Noles to an overall sweep in dual action versus the Pack.

Filip Kraljevic, Ole Miss
This Rebels standout was a tough matchup for the Gators' 87th-ranked Duarte Vale, resulting in Kraljevic springing the upset victory. The dub came in straight sets, 6-2, 6-3.
