VOTE: D3 Men’s Swim/Dive HERO of The Week (9)

The time has come to vote for who you believe deserves the honor of HERO of The Week for their performance in last week's swim and dive competitions at the D3 level for men.

Voting takes place in the poll below, and once you have done so, make sure you share with your friends to get your favorite candidate the most votes as possible. Voting will close at 11 a.m. PST on Friday.

If you have a nominee for future installments, make sure to tweet them out to @HEROSportsHOTW with the hashtag #HEROSwim. Without further ado, let's get to it!

Thomas Thetford, Washington and Lee

Thetford stood out at the ODAC Championships with two wins and another second place finish to a teammate at W&L. Only once throughout the season did Thetford fail to medal in his races.

Clark Sun, Whitman

Sun returns to the list of nominees after a few weeks with his stunning performance at the Northwest Conference Championships. The senior won multiple events, but stood out best in the 200 Free where he also set a personal best time.

Peter Venema, Rose-Hulman

Venema dominated the diving board at the HCAC Championships, winning both of the 1m and 3m titles. It marked the second time this season that he swept both events at a meet.

TJ Dugan, Coast Guard

At the Cougar Invite, Dugan won two of the three events he swam. His victories came in the 200 Fly and 200 IM, and he also finished second in the 100 Fly.
