The time has come to honor the best tennis players in the country at the D3 level with the honorees for HERO of The Week. Each week we will have a list of nominees for you to vote for that stood out in competition over the week prior.
Voting will take place in the poll at the bottom of this article following the list of nominees. Voting only takes place in the poll, and the voting will close on Friday at 10:00 a.m. PST for each poll.
Without further ado, here are the nominees for HERO of The Week!

Hannah Haeberle, Carthage
Haeberle was the one consistent winner for Carthage against Ohio Northern, winning her singles and doubles bouts. As the only singles winner, she was also the only player to get above four games in any set.

Johanna Ranta-aho, Christopher Newport
Ranta-aho is the top player for CNU, and had herself a day against CalTech. Ranked 49th in D3, she took the win in straight sets 6-4, 6-1.

Cori Sidell, Carnegie Mellon
Sidell took on her opposite top foe in a dual match with Chicago and came out on top. Ranked as the 34th player in D3, Sidell knocked off the 14th-ranked player in straight sets.

Coco Kulle, NYU
Kulle and her NYU teammates took on D1 Colgate in a dual match and came away with a big upset as a team. In her singles match, Kulle took down her opponent in straight sets, winning the second in 7-6 fashion to clinch the victory.

Ally Persky, Washington University
Persky was the most consistent player for WashU in a matchup with South. Winning her singles match, her and doubles partner Grace Deering – the sixth-ranked team in the nation – beat the 14th-ranked doubles pair in 8-7 fashion.

Ysabel Gonzalez Rico, Emory
Ranked second in the country for both singles and doubles, Gonzalez Rico had a great day in a match with Carnegie Mellon. In both wins, she took down a ranked opponent in straight sets.

Jabree McClaine, East Texas Baptist
McClaine was the lone winner for ETBU against Redlands. Winning both her singles and doubles matches, she had to go to three sets to claim a singles victory. In her doubles match, she went to extras as well before winning 9-8.
