After an enticing season of play since the season began back in the thralls of Winter, D2 Baseball has finally come towards its end with eight teams remaining in the NCAA Tournament field.
But of these eight teams still alive in the chase for national glory, which one of them do you believe comes home with the national title?
Take a look at the final eight teams below – ranked in terms of their seeding in the World Series – and vote in the following poll for whom you believe will be crowned the next D2 Baseball champion!

1) Florida Southern
The NCAA committee's favorite for a reason, the Mocs emerged from the toughest conference and region in D2 by taking down national powers at every turn in search of their 10th national title.

2) Columbus State
The Cougars have been a threat all year long and definitely as of late when they beat ranked teams in all six of their regional contests. A 23-6 record on the road should help them in a neutral site away from home.

3) UC San Diego
The West region has been a power struggle all year but the pitching staff has carried them along to the tune of a collective 3.89 staff ERA.

4) Southern New Hampshire
SNHU is in the World Series for the first time since 2012 after five straight times of falling in the East Regionals. Of pitchers to appear in 10+ games, seven of them have ERA's below 3.00.

5) Augustana
The Vikings did not lose any more than five games on the road, at home, or on a neutral site. If they can pack their bags for the trip from Sioux Falls to Cary, then that might come in handy.

6) Texas A&M-Kingsville
The Javelinas can score with the best of them, putting up 20 runs in a loss in the Lone Star Tournament and 12 more to win the regional. But their pitching has to be up to task when facing the elite of the elite in D2.

7) Mercyhurst
After dethroning defending national champ West Chester in the Atlantic Region, the Lakers will look to their experienced pitching staff to keep going. If 'Hurst wins, it will mark the second straight championship for a Northern-based team and also the second ever.

8) Southern Indiana
Making a surprising run through the Midwest Region, the Eagles are winners of four straight in the NCAA Tournament and looking for more.
