West Virginia lost to Texas Tech on Saturday, and Mountaineers' forward Wesley Harris did not take it well, opting to punch a Red Raiders' fan instead of calmly walking off the court.

Second-ranked West Virginia had their 15-game winning streak — the longest active streak in the country — snapped when Texas Tech stormed back from an 11-point deficit to win, 72-71, in Lubbock. After the final buzzer sounded, Texas Tech fans rushed the court as West Virginia players were slowly walking off the court. (This is odd in itself because players are typically instructed to leave the court quickly to avoid any injuries or confrontations.)

As Harris, a sophomore who scored eight points in the loss, was walking toward the tunnel, he was slightly bumped by a fan, although it not appear intentional or malicious. Harris turned and unleashed a violent punch.
