Three automatic bids into the FCS playoffs have been clinched with one week remaining in the regular season. Eight are still to be determined.
Here is a conference-by-conference look at the auto-bid scenarios.
Big Sky
Montana and Montana State are both 7-0 in the conference standings.
Montana State travels to Montana this week. The winner will earn the auto-bid.
CAA
Rhode Island is 7-0 in CAA play, Villanova is 7-1, and Monmouth is 6-1.
Rhode Island controls its own destiny and would clinch the auto-bid with a win in a favorable home matchup vs. Hampton (2-9). If Rhode Island were to lose in an upset, it could still earn the auto-bid in certain tiebreaker scenarios.
Villanova could earn the auto-bid if Rhody and Monmouth lose.
Monmouth could earn the auto-bid via potential tiebreakers if it beats UAlbany and Rhody loses.
Ivy League
Harvard is 6-0 in Ivy League play. Yale is 5-1.
Harvard travels to Yale this week, where the winner will earn the auto-bid.
MVFC
NDSU has clinched the auto-bid.

NEC
CCSU (5-1 in NEC play) and Duquesne (4-2) are auto-bid possibilities.
CCSU can clinch the auto-bid with a win over Mercyhurst. CCSU could also clinch with a loss and a Duquesne loss at Robert Morris.
Duquesne would earn the auto-bid with a win at RMU and a CCSU loss. Both would finish 5-2 in the standings, and Duquesne has a head-to-head win over CCSU.
OVC-Big South
Tennessee Tech is 7-0 in the OVC-Big South standings. UT Martin is 6-1.
UT Martin plays at Tennessee Tech this week. The winner will clinch the auto-bid.
Patriot League
Lehigh and Lafayette are both 6-0 in league play.
Lehigh plays at Lafayette this week, and the winner will earn the auto-bid.
Pioneer Football League
Drake is 6-1 against PFL opponents, while Presbyterian and San Diego are both 5-2.
Drake can clinch the auto-bid with a home win over Morehead State. If Drake loses, multiple tiebreaker scenarios could unfold.
For Presbyterian to earn the auto-bid, it would need to beat Marist, and then have Drake and San Diego both lose.
SoCon
Mercer has clinched the auto-bid.

Southland
SFA has clinched the auto-bid.
UAC
Tarleton State and Abilene Christian are both 6-1 in UAC play. Southern Utah is 5-2.
With a head-to-head win over Tarleton, ACU can clinch the auto-bid with a victory at Central Arkansas. ACU could also clinch the auto-bid if it loses, and Tarleton and SUU also lose.
Tarleton can clinch the auto-bid if it beats Austin Peay and ACU loses.
If SUU beats North Alabama while Tarleton and ACU lose, all three would be 6-2 in league play. Tiebreaker scenarios would occur since SUU beat ACU and lost to Tarleton, Tarleton beat SUU and lost to ACU, and ACU beat Tarleton and lost to SUU.
