The regular season begins Saturday, Aug. 24 with Samford vs. Youngstown State in the Guardian Credit Union FCS Kickoff along with Villanova playing at Colgate.

21: Will Warner, S (Sr.) — Drake
Warner is one of the best ball-hawking safeties in the FCS. After recording three interceptions in 2017, he ranked second the FCS with eight picks and led the subdivision with 223 return yards last year.
At 6-foot-3, the rangy Warner also added 45 tackles and defended 12 passes.

Three of his picks in 2018 came in a dominant three-interception performance against Marist. He earned First Team All-Pioneer Football League honors and was named an All-American by the AP.
Warner is recognized on HERO Sports' Preseason All-American Second Team.
