As a whole, Division 3 football is under-covered and doesn’t always have the glamour of larger division football. So many D3 athletes and coaches, like those at all levels, turn to social media to promote their struggles, successes, and day-to-day activities. Others use their profiles as entertaining inside looks into the glory of D3.
Here are a few of the best tweets from this past week:

Ben Cullen tweeted a behind the scenes look as the Panthers prepare for the 2015 season. The picture features Head Coach Steven Baudendistel as he brushes the field shirtless. Though this is only his third year as head coach, Baudendistel is clearly comfortable in his position. However, the coach was quick to reply:
@CoachBCullen let’s not use this for any recruiting materials. — Steve Baudendistel (@HCFBBaud) August 14, 2015

Punters at any level often are under-loved, something Connor Higgins is all too familiar with.
As if I couldn’t get any lower on the totem pole, I just got kicked off of IWU football field by a high school marching band… #Punter

Not only that, but…
The band teacher didn’t even come kick me off, he sent a kid who looked like he played the clarinet… #Punter @d3football #NoLove

Maybe you didn’t get any love from the band teacher or clarinet kid, but HERO Sports sends our love Connor.
