Ed Orgeron is often mocked for either saying too much or too little about something too strange or too trivial, in a tone too forceful or too playful. This is one of many good reasons that when the LSU head coach speaks, you listen.
Orgeron appeared at SEC Media Day on Monday, his first appearance since he was head coach of Ole Miss from 2006-08. And there were plenty of great comments, including one about high school football.
He was asked by a reporter if he thought — in an era of countless studies on the long-term impact of football — high school kids should play football.
Reporter: "I’m doing a study, do you think kids should play high school football?"
Orgeron: "Yes."

Welp, any other questions?
