VOTE: Who’s the Best Quarterback in GAC Football?

Great American Conference football is home to five of the top 50 most efficient passers in D2 football. Each of them has scored at least 15 touchdowns in total, and all five average at least 200 total yards per game as well.

But which GAC quarterback is the best? We'll leave that up to you to decide. Take a look at the quarterbacks listed below and make your choice. THE ONLY WAY TO VOTE IS THE POLL AT THE BOTTOM OF THE PAGE. Vote up to once per hour until the poll closes Friday at 5 p.m. Eastern.[divider]

Austin Warford – Ouachita Baptist

The owner of the best TD:INT ratio in the GAC, Austin Warford has been fantastic for Ouachita Baptist this season. He has his team in position to win the conference title for the first time since 2014, thanks to the Tigers' 7-2 record which includes a win at Arkansas Tech.

Warford was outstanding in that key 35-31 win — completing 17 of 22 passes for a season-high 293 yards, 2 TDs, and 0 INTs in the comeback effort. [divider]

Ty Reasnor – Arkansas Tech

Ty Reasnor ranks in the top three in the GAC in just about every major passing and scoring statistic. Completion percentage, yards per attempt, yards per game, TD:INT ratio, total yards per game, and total touchdowns. But more importantly, he has his team tied for first place in the conference standings with two games left in the regular season. [divider]

Cole Sears – Arkansas-Monticello

Cole Sears ranks second in the GAC and seventh in all of D2 football with 25 passing touchdowns so far this season. When you add the seven touchdowns he's scored with his legs, he becomes the top scoring-threat in the conference.

He also leads the conference in total yards per game at 295.3, and is a big reason the Weevils are on pace for their first winning season since 2008. [divider]

Barrett Renner – Southern Arkansas

Barrett Renner has thrown 26 touchdown passes this season — more than any player in the GAC, and the fifth most of any D2 quarterback. He also leads the conference in completion percentage at a robust 67.4.[divider]

Isaiah Weed – Northwestern Oklahoma

It's been an up and down year for Northwestern Oklahoma, but the quarterback play has been solid. Isiah Weed ranks in the top 50 in D2 football in quarterback efficiency, and has scored 12 touchdowns in the air and seven on the ground.
