Byron Buxton both elevates and ruins the list of top plays today. Buxton, who steals the No. 1 spot, sprints half the length of the diamond to track down a deep fly ball and make running catch that sends him spinning into the wall. It is certainly a great play, but it is the only play on the entire countdown that doesn't involve someone making a diving catch.
