Throwback and alternate uniforms are more prevalent in college football than ever before, and while many attempts at creativity fail miserably, they're still a fun addition to the game.
The ACC is laced with opportunities to create throwback uniforms or bring back previously worn throwbacks. Here are some ACC throwback uniforms we want to see in 2018.

Boston College
In 2015, Boston College wore throwback uniforms from the Doug Flutie era for their game vs. Notre Dame at Fenway Park. The Eagles should don the white uniforms again or bring back maroon ones.

Clemson
There are ugly uniforms that never need a resurrection and there are ugly uniforms that need a brief rebirth to remind everyone just how bizarre they were.
In 1995, Clemson paid homage to the 1939 team, the first team in program history to reach a bowl game, with atrocious uniforms that featured perpendicular bars across the top of the helmet.

Duke
When Duke introduced throwback helmets with the old script logo a couple years ago, they should never have returned to the "D" logo. The Blue Devils must bring back the script permanently.

Florida State
Florida State has tweaked their uniforms many times over the last four decades but the concept — most notably the helmet — has hardly changed at all.
More than 40 years ago, the Seminoles wore helmets with a Florida outline containing "STATE."

Miami (FL)
What Miami has done with their uniforms over the last decade is a disgrace.
Now that the program finally appears headed in the right direction after years of mediocrity — and their recent return to an old design is a step in the right direction — they should go back to these beauties.

North Carolina
North Carolina has created one of the best and most versatile repertoires of uniforms in college football but there's always room for a throwback game. Give us these helmets from the 1970's.

North Carolina State
North Carolina State introduced throwback uniforms in 2016 that didn't honor a specific team or year but instead took various pieces from past uniforms. The jersey and pants were fine but the "NSC" helmet — used from 1986-2000 — was brilliant.

Virginia
Virginia has hardly touched their football helmet since eliminating the plain white lid in favor of a blue one with the new, current logo in 1994. But back in the late 1970's through the early 1990's, the Cavaliers donned very orange uniforms and a white helmet that featured the old "V" logo.

Virginia Tech
Before introducing the merging "VT" logo in 1983, Virginia Tech used the stacked maroon and orange "VT" logo for most of the preceding two decades. This logo — in white with an orange outline — appeared on their uniforms.
