Nine teams were officially eliminated from College Football Playoff contention in Week 6, and only 25 teams are still alive for the four-team playoff field.
The ACC lost three teams, the most of any conference, followed by the Big Ten and Pac-12, who lost two apiece. The Big 12 and SEC each lost one team. And because the final Group of Five team — UCF — was eliminated in Week 4, no other conference is still alive in the playoff hunt.
