The 2016 college football bowl game slate continues on Friday, December 23 with a trio of games, including the Dollar General Bowl between Ohio and Troy.
This will be the second meeting ever between the two teams, who played in 2010. Troy won the lone matchup 48-21.

The Dollar General Bowl has undergone several branding changes over the years. It began in 1999 as the Mobile Alabama Bowl, and in 2001 was changed to the GMAC Bowl. In 2011 it became the GoDaddy.com Bowl, which it remained until this year when Dollar General became the title sponsor.
Ohio heads into the matchup after finishing 8-5 on the regular season and winning the Mid-American Conference West Division before falling to Western Michigan in the MAC championship game.
The Bobcats have had to play two quarterbacks this season because of injuries. Freshman Quinton Maxwell finished the year with 1,252 yards and eight touchdowns, while senior Greg Windham threw for 1,580 yards and 12 touchdowns.
Dorian Brown leads all runners with 802 yards and four touchdowns, while Sebastian Smith leads all receivers with 877 yards and four scores.
Troy went 9-3 on the year and finished in third place in the Sun Belt Conference. Brandon Silvers led the Trojans with 2,945 passing yards and 22 touchdowns, with Emanuael Thompson catching 72 passes for 737 yards and five touchdowns.
Jordan Chunn put together a 1,000-yard season on the ground, taking 259 carries for 1,232 yards and 13 touchdowns.
Troy is a four-point favorite heading into the Dollar General Bowl. The game has an over/under of 50 points. The Trojans should walk away a winner, but will certainly get a challenge from the Bobcats.
