The Tennessee TItans have two first-round picks this season. They acquired the Rams' 2017 first-round pick last season in the deal that ultimately allowed Lo Angeles to select QB Jared Goff. That pick ends up being No. 5 overall. Tennessee also owns pick No. 18.
Among the Titans' team needs is wide receiver. Some mock drafts have the Titans selecting a wide receiver with the second of their two first-rounders. Washington's John Ross and USC's JuJu Smith-Schuster are among the prospects mentioned.
The idea of Marcus Mariota being paired with a young receiver in the draft may be put on the backburner if recent rumors come to fruition.
Jason Cole of Bleacher Report tweeted the Titans are attempting to acquire wide receiver Brandin Cooks from the New Orleans Saints.

The cost for Cooks may be that No. 18 overall pick, but considering Cooks has just two years left on his rookie contract, including the fifth-year option, perhaps there's a pick swap of sorts to be part of such a trade that does not include Tennessee entering draft day with one first-round selection. Future picks also could be involved.
Even if Tennessee does get to keep both 2017 first-round picks, acquiring Cooks likely clears wide receiver off their board, perhaps setting up a situation where they draft half of a new secondary.
LSU stud safety Jamal Adams at No. 5 and Washington star corner Sidney Jones at No. 18?
Tennessee also could grab the best pass rusher available. Takk McKInley out of UCLA, Tennessee's Derek Barnett and Charles Harris from Missouri all could be possibilities.
