Alabama and Auburn have met 81 times going back to 1893 in what is easily the best rivalry in all of college football. This year's Iron Bowl will be critical to determining both the Crimson Tides' and Tigers' chances of making the playoffs. The winner will face Georgia in the SEC championship game, although Alabama could still sneak into the playoffs with a loss. Auburn has zero wiggle room and must win to keep its playoff hopes alive.
