Not only did the school visit SEC country in 2017 when it traveled to Starkville, but over the past few years fans following the club have had to pay expenses to travel to Michigan State, UConn, Texas, Central Florida, Middle Tennessee, Virginia, and Wisconsin (just to name a few).

BYU agreed to an eight-year contract with ESPN when it left the Mountain West that gave the network exclusive rights to broadcast its home game. The deal was thought to be akin to Notre Dame's with NBC in which BYU wouldn't have to share the TV revenue.
But now some are questioning if the money is really all that great and if playing as an independent is financially sustainable in the long term.
