The 2026 Sun Belt men’s basketball tournament begins March 3, and the college basketball odds favor Troy to hoist the title.
Troy (20-11, 12-6 SBC) won the regular-season championship to earn the No. 1 tournament seed. The Trojans have now won back-to-back regular-season titles, sharing last year’s title in a four-way tie. They then won the 2025 tournament for the first time since 2017.
Six teams tied for second place this regular season with 11-7 records in the standings — Marshall, Coastal Carolina, App State, Texas State, South Alabama, and Arkansas State.
